all kickers, coaches and parents will benefit greatly with Doug Briens
informative "Click To Kick" CD-ROM |

Instructional CD-ROM
"The Most Inexpensive Private
Lesson you will ever receive"

The Click to Kick CD-ROM is the first-ever
instructional kicking CD. This technology takes home instruction to a new
level. Have you ever wasted time fast forwarding or rewinding an
instructional video tape to find the part you want? Have you ever searched
for that perfect video that will teach you everything you need to know?
Well, Doug did when he was learning. That's why he decided to use the best
technology available and teach you to kick interactively - you tell Doug what
you want to learn and he'll teach. He even conducted interviews with young
kickers to find out exactly what information they want on a CD.
The CD includes field goal techniques, kickoff techniques, mental
techniques, weekly in-season routines, various kicking tips, and even
Doug's off-season training program. You can even press a button
on the screen to print-out Doug's mental relaxation script or his workout
program. Just about everything Doug learned to make it from soccer player
to NFL kicker is in Click to Kick.
Virtual Private Instruction - Another unique feature of
this product is its connection to this website. When you purchase your
Click to Kick CD-ROM you are entitled to two "CD support" sessions.
This means you can email Doug twice with questions you have about anything on
the CD.
This cd-rom is geared for kickers at all levels: beginner,
intermediate, and advanced. The beginners will build a solid
foundation with Doug's basic techniques. Doug also advises intermediate
and advanced kickers to check out his basic techniques and make sure that they
are included in your individual style. The more advanced athletes will
also get a lot out of the off-season training programs, weekly in-season
routines to maximize their performance on game day, mental techniques to help
them kick their best when it counts - in the game, as well as some of Doug's
special situation tips. Finally, each and everyone of you will benefit
from the ability you will have to print out everything on the cd so you can
bring it to the field with you and refer back to
it.

successful place-kicker at each level.
Says St. Louis

 Jeff
Wilkins "This CD is an excellent way for
beginners and even those who have been kicking for awhile to learn the proper
technique and exact mechanics of kicking a football. Click to Kick is just
like having a coach. The CD-ROM technology allows you to review the
techniques as many times as you like whenever you like. Plus, I have
always felt better learning something from someone who has done it themselves,
and Doug is one of the best technicians at kicking the football in the
NFL. I really feel strong about the
last sentence. I can't stand when someone tries to teach you something and
they have never done it themselves. How do they know? Anyway, I
think it is important for kids to learn from someone who has done it at the
highest level possible because then the teaching and technique has been
proven!"

FOOTBALL PUNTING
& KICKING BOOKS
Bill Renner's Off-Season H.S. Training Program's
(Jan-July) (Choose Program For Kicking Or Punting
Below)

Why You Need A Training
Program - The Kicker's and Punter's
Dilemma -
There are two positions in football that have not been the
benefactors of the expert coaching and training that the other positions have
been afforded. Left to their own for development, the persons performing
these positions have become misused and misunderstood which has led to their
mishandling. This is not a recent phenomenon. It has been this way
since the game was first started.
Why is it this way? Because the nature of the skill of
the game is one of brute force while the nature of their skill within the game
is not. The game is coached, trained and played with the concept that it
always comes down to brute force to be successful. An imposing of the will
upon the opponent leads to the victory of execution. Yet, for this
position imposing of the will is not of the essence because will cannot be
imposed on an inanimate object. It is a matter of skillful execution, a
fine motor skill, executed with a precise mindset that enables victory over an
inanimate object, not brute force.
Brute force is a tactic and can be successfully used when the
opponent is human. When used versus an inanimate object brute force
becomes the opponent not the enabler. It is reversed.
This is why these positions are misused, misunderstood and mishandled. The
very thing that requires the brute force athlete to be successful is the main
opponent for the fine motor skill athlete to be successfully. This
is why the brute force athlete cannot understand the fine motor skill athlete
and does not like the fact that at some point he relies on the fine motor skill
athlete for his victory&.a game winning kick.
So what can assist the fine motor skill athlete in surviving
and thriving in this conflicting environment? He cannot make it his goal
to change the brute force concept that surrounds him or his performance will
suffer. The answer is that he must perform his skill with consistency
and effectiveness to dissuade any misinformed thoughts regarding his fine
motor skill position existence amongst the brute force mind set.
Once his performance becomes inconsistent or ineffective he becomes
susceptible to being dismissed for these reasons. He will not be coached
or trained to be better, he will be dismissed.
Is this a fair method of handling such coaching and training
issues, should he not be coached to be better instead of discarded like old shoe
leather. Yes, but the coaches and persons handling such matters have been
trained to coach brute force tactics and not fine motor skill tactics. It
is not their fault. It is the fine motor skill athlete who must understand
the situation he is in and actually see that it is to his advantage,
advantage? How?
The lack of knowledge of how to coach and train the fine motor
skill athlete in his environment frees the fine motor skill athlete to coach and
train himself and liberates him from the brute force training. But, if he
does not do the proper training to reach or maintain a level of proficiency
required by his head coach and team then he imprisons himself in this position
of conflict and brute force decisions, getting cut, replaced or moved to
second team, being used to fix fine motor skill problems. While it does
not work, it is what it is.
The fine motor skill athlete's challenge then is to learn to
train himself to perform at a high level, or to find someone who understands, or
has been there done that, or has the training expertise and learn from him, BILL
RENNER FOOTBALL punting and kicking training has all of this experience.
BILL RENNER has been as a player in this environment on both
sides, the brute force side, running back/defensive end (HS and College), and
the fine motor skill side, punter/kicker (HS, College, Professional), and
understands, physically and mentally, how to handle it. He has been a
football coach for over 25 years so he understands the coach's position in this
matter also. He has the requisite expertise to enable you to become and
maintain your best!
This is what the BILL RENNER FOOTBALL training programs
reflect. 235 Pages.
"Nothing is more important to a players development than a
well-designed training program. A properly designed training program can
take an average player and make him good, a good player and make him great and a
great player and make him
elite." Coach
Bill Renner
Wizard Kicking is sure all coaches, players and parents

THE MENTAL ASPECTS OF KICKING
SPORTS HYPNOSIS

Wizard Kicking has added some great books which touch on the mental aspects of life and kicking. The books are excellent in regards to steps that will help build mental toughness, concentration, relaxation, and self confidence. Wizard Kicking understands the extreme importance of the mental side of kicking, so we have added some great books to help prepare and develop kickers to be mentally tough. If kicking is 90% mental, then these helpfull books should be first on your equipment list.
Harness the power of your own mind! Hypnosis is now a mainstream, modern training technique used by top professionals; it?s not the submissive state that has been portrayed in movies and misunderstood by the public. It can help you sharpen your mental focus, relax your body, visualize success, stimulate healing, and control your emotions during training or when facing important competitions.
The positive effects are similar to what sport psychologists, coaches, and athletes refer to when they talk about ?getting in the zone.? In this state of mental functioning you channel attention and energies fully toward the task at hand. Sport Hypnosis is a guide to that special psychological realm and the higher performance athletes aspire to.
First, Sport Hypnosis presents an overview of mental training and hypnosis. Next, the book provides specific information on how you can use hypnosis to enhance a variety of mental skills. These skills include relaxation, imagery, goal setting, concentration, easing pain, and increasing inner strength. Finally, because athletes rarely focus on one skill at a time, Sport Hypnosis describes in detail how coaches and athletes can apply and combine different hypnotic techniques. Five case studies explain how athletes improved several aspects of their performance through hypnosis. You?ll read how hypnosis helped a soccer player eliminate a long-standing, debilitating hamstring pain and how a basketball player achieved a higher free-throw percentage.
Author Dr. Don Liggett presents the hypnosis techniques that he has applied effectively with athletes in many different sports. You can adopt these techniques readily to your own training and competitions. If you?re looking for a way to improve the mental side of your performance equation, Sport Hypnosis just may be the edge you need to become a champion.
